Professional wrestling is an art. The Work of Wrestling is dedicated to exploring that simple truth. Host & author Tim Kail analyzes wrestling matches, explicates promos, reviews pay-per-views, and shares personal stories in an effort to provide pro-wrestling the in-depth arts criticism it genuinely deserves.

This week Work of Wrestling host Tim Kail once again dissects the latest episode of Monday Night Right. Where last week he went into deal about what made the first two episodes of the "New Era" successful, this week he gives the alternative point of view, examining why the 8/8/16 RAW was primarily ineffective. Topics include the WWE's perspective on Finn Balor's Demon gimmick, how to properly merge two unrelated storylines, and, of course, Roman Reigns crashing Rusev and Lana's wedding celebration. Rather than merely stating why Reigns shouldn't be in a "funny segment", Tim explains how the serious Roman Reigns badass gimmick from the previous week could still exist in a "funny" cake segment rather than fundamentally changing the character to fit the tone of the scene.
